Scope: This document specifies the technical requirements for the cultivation of Juxianglong Ice Sugar Orange, including site selection, soil and fertilizer management, tree management, pest and disease control, frost prevention, harvest, and file management. This document is applicable to the cultivation of Juxianglong Ice Sugar Orange. Main Technical Content: 3. Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions are applicable to this document. 3.1 Juxianglong Juxianglong is an Ice Sugar Orange cultivar selected from the offspring of grafted embryos by Hunan Agricultural University. It features strong tree vigor, uniform fruit size, and good shape. The average single fruit weight is 140 g. After full ripening, the fruit peel is orange, smooth, and has a melted texture with few or no seeds. The soluble solids content is 14.5%, the titratable acidity is 0.38%, and the vitamin C content is 470 mg/L. 4. Site Selection and Planning 4.1 Site Selection and Planning shall comply with the provisions of DB43/T 287. 4.2 Planting 4.2.1 Seedling Quality The seedling cultivation process shall comply with the requirements of NY/T 973, and the seedling growth specifications shall comply with the requirements of GB/T 9659. Quarantine shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB 5040. 4.2.2 Timing: March to June and September to December. 4.2.3 Density: Wide-row and narrow-spaced planting. For slopes with a slope of less than 15° and flat land, the planting distance is 3 m, and the row spacing is 4.5–5 m. For slopes with a slope of ≥ 15°, the planting distance is 2.5–3 m. 4.2.4 Method: Dig a pit with a length, width, and depth of 80 cm each at the center of the seedling planting point.
