This document provides typical values and recommended limits measured according to ISO 7176-5. It also presents typical values and recommended limits for important dimensions of wheelchairs (when they are being prepared for use and when they are being folded or disassembled), including dimensions related to the space for turning or reversing between walls, as well as dimensions used to evaluate the usability of wheelchairs and determine their quality. It is applicable to prescribers, clinicians, wheelchair users, and manufacturers.
