Scope
This guidance technical document specifies the requirements for preparing an avionics component management plan (ECMP). The ECMP should ensure that users and regulatory authorities can verify that all electronic components used in the equipment of the responsible person are selected and used in a controlled manner, meet the final use requirements of the equipment, and comply with the specific technical requirements in Chapter 4. This guidance technical document is applicable to avionics equipment manufacturers.
