Scope
This document specifies the energy efficiency levels and energy efficiency limits for tower and rack servers, and describes the corresponding testing methods. This document applies to 1-way and 2-way general-purpose tower and rack servers (hereinafter referred to as "servers"). This document does not apply to servers that are only equipped with auxiliary processing accelerators.
Note: 1-way or 2-way refers to the number of central processing unit (CPU) slots in a server, which is either 1 or 2.
