The average annual temperature should be ≥14.0°C, with an annual sunshine duration of ≥2,000 hours and an average annual rainfall of 600–800 mm. The frost-free period should be ≥230 days. 4.1.2 Soil: The site should be located at an altitude of around 1,900 m, facing south and sheltered from the wind, with continuous and contiguous plots of red soil with loose texture. The soil pH should be 4.5–6.0, with an organic matter content of >1.0% and quality meeting GB 15618 standards. 4.1.3 Environment: The production base should be far from large chemical plants, mines, hospitals, or other pollution sources, and have good ecological conditions.
