Main Technical Content: Eight Street Edible Roses, originating from Anning City, Kunming City, Yunnan Province, are produced in accordance with specific production techniques and meet national food safety regulations for rose products. 1.1 Eight Street Edible Roses (Fresh Petals): Fresh Eight Street edible rose petals separated from the flower heads. 1.2 Eight Street Edible Roses (Dried Flowers): Whole dried Eight Street edible rose flowers. 1.3 Eight Street Edible Roses (Dried Petals): Dried Eight Street edible rose petals. 1.4 Eight Street Edible Roses (Dried Buds): Dried Eight Street edible rose buds. 1.5 Defective flowers and petals are those damaged by natural, biological, mechanical, or human factors, or those that have lost their edible value due to rotting, wilting, or sun exposure. 2 Production Technical Requirements 4.1 Site Conditions 4.1.1 Climate: The production base should be located in an area with sufficient sunlight, abundant heat, moderate rainfall, and humid climate. The average annual temperature should be ≥14.0°C, with an annual sunshine duration of ≥2,000 hours and an average annual rainfall of 600–800 mm. The frost-free period should be ≥230 days. 4.1.2 Soil: The site should be located at an altitude of around 1,900 m, facing south and sheltered from the wind, with continuous and contiguous plots of red soil with loose texture. The soil pH should be 4.5–6.0, with an organic matter content of >1.0% and quality meeting GB 15618 standards. 4.1.3 Environment: The production base should be far from large chemical plants, mines, hospitals, or other pollution sources, and have good ecological conditions.
