Scope

This standard specifies the method for determining the number of easily detachable particles (visible and invisible) in the rinsing solution of butyl rubber bottle stoppers. This standard does not stipulate the limit of particle contamination, which can be determined by the manufacturer and the user through consultation. This standard applies to pharmaceutical bottle stoppers (hereinafter referred to as "bottle stoppers") made primarily of butyl rubber as the main material.
