Scope

This standard specifies the principles and methods for calculating energy consumption in the production of insulation materials, the scope of the calculation, and the principles for classifying the energy consumption of insulation materials into grades.
This standard applies to the production of insulation materials primarily made of inorganic non-metallic materials.
This standard does not apply to the production of insulation materials primarily made of organic materials, but the calculation method for their energy consumption can be referenced for implementation.
