Scope
This standard specifies the method outline, reagents, instruments and equipment, samples, analysis steps, result calculation, and method precision for determining fluorine and chlorine in uranium dioxide powder and pellets.
This standard is applicable to the determination of fluorine and chlorine in uranium dioxide powder and pellets. When the sample weighing range is 0.5 g to 5.0 g, the fluorine determination range is 1 μg/g to 400 μg/g, and the chlorine determination range is 2 μg/g to 200 μg/g. When the impurity ions Al3+, Ca2+, Fe3+, and Mg2+ present in the absorption solution do not exceed 16 μg, 10 μg, 10 μg, and 22 μg, respectively, the determination of fluorine will not be affected.
