GB/T 43501-2023 Ships and marine technology—Guidelines for measurement, evaluation and reporting of vibration with regard to habitability on specific ships
Basic Information
Scope
This document specifies guidelines for the measurement, evaluation, and reporting of vibration affecting the habitability of personnel on board ships that meet one of the following conditions:
a) Equipped with two-stroke, long-stroke, low-speed diesel engines directly connected to fixed-pitch propellers.
b) The length of the deckhouse is limited by its height (for example, the ratio of the height to length of the deckhouse is greater than or equal to 1). Appendix A provides examples of the ratio of the deckhouse height (H) to length (L). [ZK)]
This document provides guidelines for the evaluation of habitability in different areas of the ship, using the root-mean-square value of the frequency-weighted vibration in the frequency range of 1 Hz to 80 Hz as the evaluation value.
This document applies to specific feature ships with an expected voyage duration of 24 hours or longer.
This document specifies requirements for measurement instruments and measurement procedures in commonly used functional areas, and also includes analysis specifications and guidelines for evaluating the impact of ship vibration on habitability.
This document does not apply to machinery spaces other than engine control rooms, as these spaces are not intended for long-term stays by personnel.
ISO 20283-5 is generally applicable to all types of ships. ISO 20283-5 specifies requirements for the measurement, evaluation, and reporting of vibration affecting the habitability of personnel on all passenger and merchant ships, including specific feature ships to which this document may apply. For passenger and merchant ships, including specific feature ships, to which this document may apply, ISO 20283-5 specifies requirements for the measurement, evaluation, and reporting of vibration affecting the habitability of personnel on board. This document is intended only as a supplement to ISO 20283-5. For any specific feature ship, the shipbuilder may, with the shipow
