GB/T 43517-2023 Ergonomics of the physical environment—Assessment of environments by means of an environmental survey(physical measurements of the environment and subjective responses of people)
Basic Information
Scope
This document provides an environmental survey method for assessing the comfort of indoor and outdoor environments and the health status of people, but it is not limited to specific environments. Instead, it provides general principles for evaluation and assessment.
This document sets out the principles for assessing the environmental health and comfort of people and provides guidelines for environmental measurement to quantify the environment, subjective evaluation methods to quantify people's responses to the environment, and survey design. However, it does not include guidelines for designing subjective scales.
This document is applicable to building environments and other environments, including vehicle interiors and outdoor environments, as well as people in such environments who can respond effectively to environmental surveys. However, when applying the general principles set out in this document, it may be necessary to consider the specific characteristics of certain types of environments.
This document is not limited to specific environmental factors. It includes assessments of thermal environments, acoustic environments, display and lighting environments, air quality, and other environmental factors that affect human health and comfort.
This document is a basic ergonomics standard that helps develop specific environmental-related standards in buildings. It is intended for use by those involved in the general assessment and evaluation of physical environments, including general ergonomics practitioners and those who develop specific application standards and guidelines.
Note: The results of environmental surveys conducted using this document may reveal specific issues that require expert interpretation.
