Scope

This document specifies the classification list for network security prevention and control (hereinafter referred to as "security control") of nuclear power plant instrumentation and control systems (all instrumentation and control systems described in this document refer to digital instrumentation and control systems, hereinafter referred to as "instrumentation and control systems"), and is provided for users to select and apply, so as to prevent, detect, and correct computer network attacks on nuclear power plant digital instrumentation and control systems.
This document is applicable to the selection and implementation of security control measures for all stages of the life cycle of new nuclear power plant instrumentation and control systems (including instrumentation and control platform development, instrumentation and control system engineering construction, instrumentation and control system operation and maintenance, decommissioning, etc.), and is also applicable to the updating or modification of in-service instrumentation and control systems in nuclear power plants. The network security prevention and control of nuclear power plant electrical systems can also be implemented in accordance with this document.
