Scope
This standard specifies the ultrasonic automatic detection reference blocks (plates) for thick steel plates, ultrasonic automatic detection systems and equipment, inspection conditions and methods, determination and evaluation of defects, quality grading of steel plates, inspection reports, and other content.
This standard is applicable to the ultrasonic automatic detection of steel plates with thicknesses of 6 mm to 200 mm used in boilers, pressure vessels, bridges, buildings, shipbuilding, structural steel, pipeline steel, and other applications.
