Scope

This document describes the performance testing methods for comfort fans and speed controllers used in household and similar applications, including traditional fans, column fans, bladeless fans, fans driven by motors with a rated voltage of no more than 250 V for single-phase applications and no more than 480 V for other applications, and with a rated input power of no more than 125 W.
