Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, basic requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of ductless self-cleaning fume hoods.
This standard applies to the production and testing of ductless self-cleaning fume hoods used for small and medium-sized chemical experiments and routine chemical experiments in buildings, and is not applicable to biosafety experiments and other fume hoods that have not passed the suitability assessment.
