Scope
This part of GB/T 18400 specifies the detection and evaluation of thermal deformation in the structure and positioning system of machining center machines within a certain length range, referring to ISO 2303. This part is applicable to machining center machines with a linear axis travel of up to 2,000 mm. This part specifies three detection methods, namely: -- Environmental temperature variation error (ETVE) test; -- Thermal deformation test caused by spindle rotation; -- Thermal deformation test caused by linear axis movement. It should be noted that no specific tolerance values are given for the tests described in this part.
