Scope

This part of GB/T 15249 specifies the determination method of the silver content in refined gold.
This part is applicable to the determination of the silver content in refined gold (mineral gold, smelting crude gold products, and recycled gold, etc.). The range of the silver mass fraction to be determined is 0.50% to 40.00%.
When the sample contains interfering elements (such as iridium, palladium, platinum, rhodium, ruthenium, and osmium) that affect the accuracy of the fire assay weight method, this part will not be applicable.
