GB/T 20528.2-2009 Ergonomics requirements for work with visual display based on flat panels—Part 2:Ergonomics requirements for flat panel displays
Basic Information
Scope
This part of GB/T 20528: — Establishes ergonomic requirements for the design and evaluation of image quality in flat-panel displays; — Specifies terms and definitions needed to describe the image quality of flat-panel displays; — Specifies methods for testing the image quality of flat-panel displays; — Establishes ergonomic principles to guide these requirements. This part of GB/T 20528 applies to: — Flat-panel display screens used for office tasks; — Flat-panel display screens where image elements are arranged in a regular sequence with uniform spacing and no gaps between rows; — Flat-panel display screens that display characters in various fonts of Latin, Cyrillic, and Greek alphabets, as well as Arabic numerals; — Display of Asian characters; — Flat-panel display screens large enough to display at least 40 Latin characters. This part of GB/T 20528 does not apply to displays using the following flat-panel technologies: — Displays that use optical principles to construct images, resulting in image sizes different from those of the photoelectric sensors (projection applications of flat-panel displays); or — Displays used solely for fixed information or segmented alphanumeric displays (see IEC/SC 47C (Central Office) 3:1992, 2.13). Note: Some measurement methods in this part of GB/T 20528 (e.g., contrast and brightness) are not applicable to reflective flat-panel displays. When technological advancements occur, appropriate measurement methods will be added to this part of ISO 13406.
