Scope

This part of GB/T 23730 specifies the structure, distribution and usage rules of the Chinese standard audiovisual work number and version number, the display position and method, as well as the management and maintenance of related metadata and systems.
This part is based on the audiovisual work identifiers specified in GB/T 23730.1, and is applicable to the accurate and unique identification of any version of an audiovisual work or other content produced during its lifespan.
Registering the Chinese standard audiovisual work number and version number is not the same as copyright registration, nor does it naturally become a legal certificate of the audiovisual work's intellectual property rights.
