Scope

This standard specifies the structure of the coding of Chinese standard music works, the coding objects, the management and maintenance institutions, the allocation rules, and the metadata related to the coding of Chinese standard music works.
This standard applies to abstract intellectual or artistic creations composed entirely of sounds.
This standard does not apply to the presentation forms or carrier forms of music works. The presentation forms or carrier forms of music works should belong to other specialized identification systems.
The registration of the coding of Chinese standard music works and copyright registration are not the same, nor do they naturally become legal certificates for providing intellectual property rights of music works.
