Scope

This standard specifies the main dimensions of the suction filter box installed at the end of the bilge water suction pipe to prevent the pipe from being clogged by solid substances. The suction filter box specified in this standard is not suitable for bilge water suction pipes in engine rooms and shaft tunnels. This standard applies to sea-going and inland waterway vessels.
