Scope

This standard specifies the design and installation requirements for on-board fueling and electrical system components of inboard gasoline engines on small boats with a hull length of not more than 24 m, in order to minimize fuel leakage and prevent surrounding flammable gases from being ignited. This standard does not apply to the following types of engines: — Engines for personal boats as defined in ISO 13590; — Outboard engines.
