T/SGSZZ 003-2023 Technical Specifications for Integrated Water and Fertilizer Production of Watermelon
T/SGSZZ 003-2023
Basic Information
Scope
Scope: This standard specifies the characteristics of watermelon varieties, the configuration of drip irrigation equipment, and the application of water and fertilizer. This protocol is applicable to the Kashgar region of Xinjiang, where watermelon production is carried out using drip irrigation technology. Main technical content: 3.1 Integrated Water and Fertilizer Management: Based on the growth and development needs of watermelon plants, this method comprehensively regulates and integrates water and nutrients to promote water-fertilizer coupling and comprehensively improve the utilization efficiency of water and fertilizer in watermelon production. 3.2 Micro-irrigation: A method of irrigating the soil in the root zone of watermelon plants with pressurized water streams converted into fine water streams or water droplets, including drip irrigation and micro-spray irrigation. 3.3 Drip Irrigation Tape: A final-stage pipe (tape) in the drip irrigation system that combines water delivery and drip irrigation functions. 3.4 Water-soluble Fertilizers: Liquid or solid fertilizers dissolved or diluted in water, used for irrigation fertilization, foliar fertilization, soilless cultivation, and seed soaking and root treatment. 4. Variety Characteristics: Select high-yielding, high-quality, medium-sized new watermelon varieties suitable for cultivation in Xinjiang. 5. Water Source and Water Quality: Use clean, non-polluted water sources. Irrigation water quality shall comply with the requirements of GB/T5084 "Agricultural Irrigation Water Quality Standards". 6. Drip Irrigation Equipment Configuration: 6.1 Selection of Drip Irrigation Equipment: Select appropriate drip irrigation equipment based on the irrigation water source and cultivation conditions, including water supply pipes, power devices, fertilization devices, filtration systems, and pipe network systems. Water supply pipes shall generally use hard polyvinyl chloride (PVC-U) pipes and fittings, which shall comply wit
