Scope
This standard specifies the general requirements, test signals, measurement methods, and data processing methods for color gamut measurement of flat-panel displays.
This standard applies to the color gamut measurement of television receivers (hereinafter referred to as "receivers") and television monitors (hereinafter referred to as "monitors") that use flat-panel displays. The color gamut measurement of receivers and monitors that use other displays, as well as electronic projection devices and computer monitors, can be carried out with reference to this standard.
