GB/T 17370-2015 Determination of stead-state thermal transmissivity of a moist building material
Basic Information
Scope
This standard specifies the method for determining the heat transfer rate (λ*) of hygroscopic materials under steady-state humidity conditions (i.e., not affected by moisture migration) using protective heat plates or heat flow meters at temperatures above 0℃. The heat transfer rate of hygroscopic materials is a function of their moisture content. By combining information on the moisture distribution within the material, the actual thermal performance of the material can be estimated. Due to the difficulty in analyzing and interpreting the results, this standard is not applicable to transient measurement methods. The use of λ*, the moisture distribution under the conditions of use, and the thermal performance under the anticipated conditions of use all exceed the scope of this standard. However, when possible, it is advisable to consider the moisture distribution under the conditions of use when determining λ*.
