Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, structure and models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of xenon discharge lamps for general lighting (hereinafter referred to as "xenon lamps"). This standard applies to general lighting in places such as roads, tunnels, squares, venues, and docks, which consist of xenon bulbs and dedicated electronic ballasts, and operate on a power supply voltage of 100V to 250V and a 50Hz/60Hz AC power source.
