Scope
This document describes a test method based on the FZG power enclosure test machine, which determines the relative load-bearing capacity of high-pressure oil by measuring the glue damage on the gear surface. This document is suitable for evaluating the potential glue-bearing capacity of lubricating oil used in high-stress cylindrical gears of most vehicles and fixed installation equipment. However, it is not suitable for evaluating the potential glue-bearing capacity of lubricating oil used in hypoid gears under high loads. If necessary, other methods can be used for evaluation.
Note: This method is technically equivalent to CEC L-84-02.
