Scope
This standard specifies the system framework for transmitting message-based signaling protocols over IP networks and the relationships between various functional entities and physical entities in signaling transmission. It defines the No.7 and IP interworking model suitable for use in China at the current stage, and based on this interworking model, it puts forward corresponding requirements for the functions and performance of signaling gateway devices.
This standard is applicable to the interworking between the No.7 signaling network and the IP network.
