Scope

Main technical content: 6.1 Sensory characteristics 6.1.1 Live chickens are small and well-proportioned, with their heads held high and tails arched upward. Their wing feathers and tail feathers are well-developed. Male chickens have large, upright combs with 4-6 comb teeth, while female chickens have smaller, slightly twisted combs. Their shanks are black or flesh-colored. The foraging patterns of adult Tibetan chickens are shown in Appendix B. 6.1.2 White-striped chickens have light yellow skin that is smooth and moist, with plump, elastic muscles. The skin and muscle cross-sections have a glossy appearance, and the muscles are bright red, making the meat delicious and elastic.
