Scope

This standard specifies the method for quantitatively determining the phospholipid content using high-performance liquid chromatography-evaporative light scattering detection.
This standard is applicable to crude oil-containing lecithin, oil-free lecithin, and lecithin extracted from vegetable oils.
Due to the poor separation effect of lysophosphatidylethanolamine, lysophosphatidylcholine, and lysophosphatidic acid, this standard is not applicable to animal lecithin, ruminant lecithin, and enzymatically hydrolyzed lecithin.
