1.0.1 This specification is formulated to standardize the technical management of the construction of spherical coal storage silos in thermal power plants, further improve their construction technology level, and ensure the safe, high-quality, and efficient construction of the project. 1.0.2 This specification applies to the construction of spherical coal storage silos in new, expanded, or modified thermal power plants. 1.0.3 During the construction of spherical coal storage silos, new technologies, new processes, new procedures, new equipment, and new materials should be actively promoted and applied. 1.0.4 During the construction process, in addition to complying with this specification, the project shall also comply with the provisions of the relevant national standards currently in force.
