Scope

This standard specifies the steel grade representation method for straight seam submerged arc welded steel pipes used in coal slurry transportation projects; the content of the order; dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations; technical requirements; test methods; inspection rules; packaging, marking, and quality certificates.
This standard applies to straight seam submerged arc welded steel pipes (hereinafter referred to as "steel pipes") with a wall thickness of 6 mm to 40 mm, which are used in coal slurry transportation projects.
