Scope

This standard specifies the method of designating the steel plate grades for coal slurry transport pipes, the content of orders, dimensions, shapes, weights, and allowable deviations, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, and quality certificates. This standard applies to hot-rolled steel plates and sheared steel plates with a thickness of 6 mm to 40 mm used in the manufacture of submerged arc welded steel pipes for transporting coal slurry (hereinafter referred to as "steel plates").
