Scope This document specifies the terms and definitions, production site environment, variety selection, preparation of rice fields and supporting facilities, green rice production technology, ecological duck farming in rice fields, and harvest for the rice-duck farming production technology in Taizhou City, Jiangsu Province, which is suitable for products produced in single-season rice-duck farming areas with good ecological environments. 2. Terms and Definitions The following terms and definitions apply to this document. - Rice-duck farming: An agricultural production method in which 12- to 15-day-old ducklings are placed in rice fields that have been transplanted (direct sowing) and are suitable for duck rearing. The ducks and rice are raised together, grow synchronously, and combine farming and breeding around the clock, all in accordance with green food production requirements. 4.
