Scope

This standard specifies the general principles of safety risk classification and grading for the use of special equipment, the analysis of the severity of accident (incident) consequences, the analysis of the likelihood of accidents (incidents), the evaluation of safety risk levels, and the evaluation cycle and re-evaluation. This standard applies to special equipment used in fixed locations that have undergone use registration. This standard does not apply to special equipment produced by units that have not obtained the qualification for special equipment production (including design, manufacture, installation, modification, and repair).
