Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) bottles with carbon-coated inner walls (hereinafter referred to as "bottles").
This standard applies to high-gas barrier food packaging bottles made from polyethylene terephthalate resin, which are injection-molded, stretched, and blow-molded, and have a carbon layer coated on their inner walls.
