Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, packaging, marking, transportation, and storage of polyanionic cellulose. This standard applies to industrial polyanionic cellulose made from refined cotton or wood pulp and other cellulose materials, which are alkalized in a solvent medium and then reacted with chloroacetic acid to produce a carboxymethyl sodium substituted group.
