Scope
This document specifies the general requirements for targeted sequencing testing of human DNA genetic markers in forensic science using second-generation sequencing technology, as well as the basic requirements for testing equipment and reagents, testing procedures, and data analysis and genetic parameter calculation. This document is applicable to laboratories and product manufacturers engaged in forensic human genetic marker testing for STR, SNP, InDel, and other genetic markers, as well as mitochondrial DNA, using second-generation sequencing techniques on human biological samples and specimens.
