Scope

This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, and packaging, marking, transportation, and storage of zinc and zinc alloy scraps and waste parts (hereinafter referred to as "waste zinc"). This standard applies to the domestic trade of zinc and zinc alloy scraps and waste parts, to recycling non-ferrous metal smelting enterprises, and also to the waste zinc used by processing and manufacturing enterprises.
