This standard specifies the method for determining ergosterol in lingzhi and its related products using high-performance liquid chromatography. This standard is applicable to the determination of ergosterol in lingzhi (red lingzhi) fruiting bodies, mycelia (dried products), and its products including spore powder (broken-wall spore powder) and lingzhi spore oil.
