Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, product classification, materials, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of polyvinyl chloride (PVC) hoses (hereinafter referred to as hoses). This standard applies to hoses used for industrial water, agricultural irrigation, landscaping, temporary drainage, and other purposes, with a use temperature between 0°C and 40°C and a working pressure not exceeding 1.0 MPa. This standard does not apply to hoses used for food and drug production and processing, and drinking water for daily use.
