Main Technical Content: Zhaosu Rapeseed Disease and Pest Control Technical Regulations 1 Scope This document specifies the terms and definitions of Zhaosu rapeseed, major pests and diseases, prevention principles, and control measures. It applies to the prevention and control of rapeseed diseases and pests in Zhaosu. 2 Normative Reference Documents The content of the following documents is an integral part of this document through normative reference. Among them, the referenced documents with a specified date apply only to the corresponding version on that date; for those without a specified date, the latest version (including all amendments) applies. - GB/T 1.1-2009, Standardization Guidelines – Part 1: Structure and Preparation of Standards - GB/T 8321.1, Guidelines for the Rational Use of Pesticides 3 Terms and Definitions 3.1 Agricultural Control Through reasonable water and fertilizer management, pruning, and other agricultural measures, we enhance tree vigor and improve their resistance to stress. We adopt measures such as removing diseased and pest-infested branches and clearing dead branches and leaves to kill pest residues, reduce pest infection sources, and inhibit pest outbreaks. 3.2 Physical Control Based on the biological characteristics of pests, methods such as placing yellow boards and insect traps in orchards are used to attract and kill pests. 3.3 Biological Control The use of beneficial organisms and their metabolic products to control pest populations or reduce their damage. 3.4 Chemical Control Refers to the use of pesticides to control diseases and pests. It plays an important role in integrated pest management and is characterized by good effectiveness, simplicity, and cost-effectiveness, especially when pests occur in large numbers.
