Scope
This document describes the test method for determining the lead release from textiles and textile accessories after treatment with artificial saliva using an inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometer (ICPOES), a graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometer (GFAAS), or an inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometer (ICPMS). This document is applicable to the detection of textiles and textile accessories (such as buttons and zippers).
