Scope

This standard specifies the safety requirements for self-propelled forestry machinery in design. This standard applies to logging machines, stacking machines, pruning machines, collection machines, timber loaders, logging machines, and multi-functional combined harvesting machines combined together as specified in GB/T 19365. This standard does not apply to additional equipment on these machines. This standard includes various hazards common to forestry machinery, but as a general safety standard, this standard cannot address all potential hazards of a particular machine (such as noise, vibration, and throwing objects). For most machines, applying this standard alone is not sufficient to meet their safety requirements.
