Main Technical Content: 1. Scope: This standard specifies the selection of pollution-free chives planting environments, variety selection, main agronomic measures, and product quality. The standard applies to chives planting areas in Jiangsu and similar ecological regions. 2. For dated reference documents, all subsequent amendment or revision versions (excluding corrections) are not applicable to this standard. However, parties agreeing to this standard are encouraged to investigate whether the latest versions of these documents can be used. Site Environment: The quality of the site environment meets the requirements of NY5010. 4. Cultivation Techniques 4.1. Tilling and Fertilization: The chives seeds have thick seed coats, so fine tilling is required before sowing to promote full and uniform seedling emergence. Select fields with convenient irrigation and well-drained, fertile soil. Apply 2000–3000 kg of high-quality composted organic fertilizer per mu as base fertilizer, combined with winter plowing and freezing soil to enrich the soil. 4.2. Variety Selection: Select varieties such as Shengli Xuechives, Pingchives No. 6, and Nongda Sunshine. 4.3. Timely Sowing: Level the soil and open grooves for sowing.
