Scope

Scope: This document specifies the flower induction control techniques for kiwifruit, including dormancy release control, nutrient regulation, pre-flowering disease prevention, pollination micro-environment control, pruning regulation, and forced dormancy control, etc. This document is applicable to all kiwifruit varieties grown in Yunnan Province; Main technical content: 1. Terms and definitions: There are no terms or definitions needing definition in this document. 2. Dormancy release control: Spray 50% monocrotophos 50 times diluted with water on the whole plant 30 to 40 days before bud sprouting once. 3. Nutrient regulation: 3.1 Pre-flowering nutrient supplementation: Spray 1000 times diluted potassium dihydrogen phosphate, 2000 times diluted 0.01% kinetin, and 800 times diluted seaweed fertilizer on the leaves once during the bud sprouting period. 3.2 Balanced fertilization to promote flower bud differentiation: Spray oligosaccharide fertilizer on the leaves once in April. From June to August, spray 800 times diluted potassium dihydrogen phosphate, 1000 times diluted trace element fertilizer, and 800 times diluted calcium borate once. 4. Pre-flowering disease prevention: Spray 400 to 600 times diluted 0.4% cefaclor, amino acids, and 0.1% boron fertilizer on the leaves once before flowering. 5. Pollination micro-environment control: In spring, when the temperature rises rapidly and the high temperature and low air humidity conditions are not conducive to kiwifruit pollination and pollen germination, spray water with irrigation facilities in the morning to increase the humidity of the orchard and then proceed with pollination. For orchards without irrigation facilities, liquid pollination can be used. 6. Pruning regulation: 6.1 Pruning regulation principles: After using dormancy breaking technology, adopt the pruning method of leaving long branches for fruiting mother branches; if dormancy breaking technology is not used, the buds at the base of long branches gen
