Scope
Congenital biliary tract malformations mainly include congenital choledochal cysts and biliary atresia. This standard specifies the classification, definitions, diagnosis, and differential diagnosis of congenital choledochal cysts and biliary atresia. Other congenital biliary tract malformations such as congenital bile duct dysplasia and progressive bile duct sclerosis, due to their extremely low incidence, are not included in this standard.
This standard is applicable to medical personnel in all levels and types of medical institutions across the country for the diagnosis of congenital choledochal cysts and biliary atresia.
