This standard specifies the classification and naming, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage, transportation, and maintenance of horizontal-axis doubly-fed variable-speed constant-frequency wind turbine generators (hereinafter referred to as "generators"). This standard applies to doubly-fed variable-speed constant-frequency wind turbine generators with a swept area of the wind turbine greater than 200 m2.
