Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, test equipment, samples, experimental procedures, data analysis, and test reports for measuring the shear modulus (G) of the interlayer materials in laminated glass. This standard is applicable to the measurement of the shear modulus of interlayer materials such as polybutylene terephthalate (PVB), ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA), and ionic interlayer films in laminated glass. The measurement of the shear modulus of other viscoelastic materials can be used for reference.
