Scope

This document specifies the method for estimating the radiation dose to the main organs (or tissues) of subjects in common medical X-ray diagnosis under specific irradiation conditions, as well as the relevant parameters.
This document is applicable to subjects who undergo ordinary X-ray photography, X-ray fluoroscopy, X-ray mammography, and X-ray computed tomography (CT).
