Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, requirements, inspection methods, inspection rules, and marking, packaging, transportation, and storage of oxygen-blowing metal hoses, as well as their installation and use. This standard applies to metal hoses (referred to as "hoses") used in converter oxygen-blowing pipeline systems in the metal smelting industry, which are connected to oxygen lances. The medium used is oxygen and cooling water, with nominal sizes ranging from DN50 to DN450. The operating temperature does not exceed 400°C, and the design pressure at normal temperature is no more than 2.5 MPa. Metal hoses for other systems and media can be implemented in accordance with this standard.
